Transferring files to NMSU

There is a simple script available to transfer image files from a given night down to a disk on ganymede at NMSU. Using this script, you can specify which images to transfer, and also, at what time the transfer will take place.

To run the transfer script, simply use:

dosftp date time

This will transfer all the images from the specified date at the specified time; if now is specified, the image transfer will start immediately.

For example, to transfer images from 981108 at 7am, use

dosftp 981108 7am

The images will be placed in /home/1m/date, viewable from all of the Linux machines at NMSU.
